And the good news just keeps rolling in. My short story, “Earth Epitaph,” crowns the amazing collection in Triangulation: Dark Skies.
Dark Skies is about the importance of the sky at night, how much we humans need to see the stars. Ms. Turnshek and Ms. Nightingale almost tell a story themselves with the artful way they arranged all our stories. From Blake Jessop’s opening shutdown of Hong Kong to my final message to an emerging cosmos, it’s a building thematic rhythm of night, stars, and humanity. When I finished the book, I wept into my Belgian beer for about half an hour.
I can’t recommend it highly enough.
